Curt Wolfgang, Ph.D.
VP Program Director
Curt Wolfgang is the VP Program Director for Fanapt™ (iloperidone) and has directed all activities of the program that lead to the approval of Fanapt™ by the US Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Wolfgang joined Vanda from Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where he worked from 2001-2003 as a Senior Scientist for the Clinical Pharmacogenetics department. During this time, he served on multiple International Project Teams in the CNS, transplantation and oncology therapeutic areas.
Prior to joining Novartis, he was a Postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute identifying novel genes specifically expressed in human prostate for the development of immunotoxins against metastatic forms of prostate cancer. He has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University.
