1. Take I-95 S towards Washington, D.C.
2. Take exit 27 to merge onto Capital Beltway/I-495 W towards Silver Spring.

4. Slight right at I-270 Local N (signs for Montrose Rd/I-270 Local).
5. Continue on I-270 N until exit 8 Shady Grove Rd.
6. Get off at exit 8.
7. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.
8. Turn right onto Key West Ave.
9. Turn left at the first light onto Medical Center Dr.
10. Take the first right after crossing Key West Ave. into the Johns Hopkins University complex.
11. Park to the right of the three main buildings. Vanda Pharmaceuticals is located on the 3rd floor of the building nearest to the pond (the building to the right when facing Johns Hopkins).

FROM THE SOUTH

1. Take I-495 N towards Baltimore.
2. Merge onto I-270 Spur N via exit 38 on the left.
3. Continue on I-270 N until exit 8 Shady Grove Rd.
4. Get off at exit 8.
5. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.
6. Turn right onto Key West Ave.
7. Turn left at the first light onto Medical Center Dr.
8. Take the first right after crossing Key West Ave. into the Johns Hopkins University complex.

Airport Directions

From Washington National Airport (DCA)

1. Exit the airport and take the ramp toward GW Parkway N.
2. Road forks off to the left several times. Stay to the RIGHT and continue on the GW Parkway for about 11.5 miles.
3. Merge onto I-495 N Capital Beltway towards MD.
4. Merge onto I-270 Spur N via exit 38, on the left, toward Rockville/Frederick.
5. Continue on I-270 N until exit 8 Shady Grove Rd.
6. Get off at exit 8.
7. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.
8. Turn right onto Key West Ave.
9. Turn left at the first light onto Medical Center Dr.

1. Take I-195 W to I-95 S toward Washington.

4. Merge onto I-270 Spur N via exit 38 on the left.
5. Continue on I-270 N until exit 8 Shady Grove Rd.
6. Get off at exit 8.
7. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.
8. Turn right onto Key West Ave.
9. Turn left at the first light onto Medical Center Dr.

Train and Metro Directions

From Union Station, Washington, D.C.

You can either drive, take a taxi, or metro from Union Station. See directions below for the Metro.

If you are driving or taking a taxi

1. Head South on 13th St NE toward G St NE.
2. Turn left at Maryland Ave NE.
3. Turn right at Benning Rd NE.
4. Take the DC-295 ramp to DC-295 N.
5. Continue on MD-295 N to the exit onto Capital Beltway/I-495 N/I-95 N toward Baltimore/College Park.
6. Continue straight onto I-270 N (signs for I-270 N/Frederick).
7. Slight right at I-270 Local N (signs for Montrose Rd/I-270 Local).
8. Continue on I-270 N until exit 8 Shady Grove Rd.
9. Get off at exit 8.
10. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.

1. Union Station is located on the Red Line.
2. Take the Red Line towards Shady Grove (Shady Grove is the last stop on the Red Line).
3. You will have to take a taxi from the Shady Grove Metro stop to Vanda Pharmaceuticals.
4. Exit the Metro toward 355 N (Frederick).
5. Turn left onto Shady Grove Rd.
6. Turn right onto Key West Ave.
7. Turn left at the first light onto Medical Center Dr.
8. Take the first right after crossing Key West Ave. into the Johns Hopkins University complex.
